Locally sourced Bacon, Cumberland sausage and black pudding.

 Mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans.

Free range eggs; fried, scrambled or poached.

Any combination of the above.

Dufton House Specials;

• Smoked haddock with poached egg,
• Scrambled egg with smoked salmon,
• "Brigham breakfast bruschetta " with strips of smoked bacon, sausage,tomato, sliced egg topped with cheese.
• Scottish kipper fillets.
• Continental breakfast with sliced meats, cheeses and croissants.

Home made bread with home made preserves and marmalade.

Selection of teas and coffee.

Evening Meal

A two course dinner for £15 or a three course dinner for £20 is available on request. Please order when booking.

The food we prepare is home grown or locally sourced where possible. Depending on seasonal availibilty we can offer a wide range of dishes. Here are a few examples of the kind of evening meals we can provide;

Starters:

• Home made soup of the day.
• Seafood cocktail with king prawns and roasted salmon.
• Smoked duck breast on a bed of salad leaves with home made chutney.
• Farmhouse pate.

Main Courses:

• Beef in red wine with seasonal vegetables and creamy gratin potatoes.
• Cumberland Sausage on a bed of garlic mash with red onion gravy.
• Chicken in herby breadcrumbs with a green salad and jacket potato or home made wedges.
• Salmon with watercress sauce, seasonal vegetables and new potatoes.

Desserts:

• Sticky toffee pudding.
• Bakewell tart.
• Creme brulee
• Fruit salad.

All puddings can be served with; cream, ice cream, creme fraiche or custard.

Tea/Coffee

We are not licensed to sell alcohol but please feel free to bring your own wine to drink with your meal.
