| Dufton House is a grade 2 listed Georgian farmhouse dating back to 1662,situated in the peaceful village of Brigham just 2 miles from Cockermouth. The house retains many original features including the stone staircase,wood panelling, sash windows,and window seats overlooking the secluded and quiet walled garden. We are a small family run business and our aim is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We are a member of Cumbria Tourism, an organisation committed to developing, promoting and managing tourism. We are assessed annually and are proud to have been awarded 4 stars for our accommodation and a breakfast award for the quality of our food under the Visit Britain Scheme for quality in tourism. |
